In order to be able to continue to offer the SYSTEM-V enlargers in the future and to ensure compatibility with current and previous components, Kaiser Fototechnik has revised the design of the central lower part of the enlarger head. As a result, the current enlarger models VP 9005, VP 6005 and VP 350 have also been updated: VP 350 and VP 6005 have been given an ergonomic adjustment handle for precise focusing, while the VP 9005 still has an additional fine drive, but dispenses with the external filter holder below the lens. The filter drawer for Multigrade® filter inserts in the VP 9005 and VP 6005 models now has an additional diffusion screen for more even illumination; in the VP 350, this filter drawer can be upgraded together with the diffusion screen. And finally, the base boards of the three enlargers now have a printed fine grid with cm and inch scale for precise alignment of the papers or masking frames. It is also possible to convert the Kaiser enlargers into a solid and vibration-resistant copy stand with an optional camera/copy arm.
