Complete starter kit for digitizing 35 mm slides and negatives with your own smartphone or a lightweight camera with macro lens (1:1). Can be converted for film formats up to 6 x 9 cm with format masks and glass inserts available as accessories.

Consisting of the compact reprokid copy stand for attaching a lightweight camera or the smartphone mount, which is also included, the FilmCopy Vario holding device with an insert for mounted slides with external dimensions 5 x 5 cm (2 x 2 in.), exchangeable for format masks 24 x 36 mm and the slimlite plano LED light box as a transmitted light source, with an overlay mat to cover the edges. The kit furthermore contains a blower brush for gentle cleaning of slides and negatives.

FilmCopy Vario

Stable holding device for the exact positioning of slides and negatives of various formats during digitizing by using a smartphone or a camera with macro lens (1:1) mounted to a copy stand or tripod. To use on light boxes.

Includes an insert for 35 mm slides in 5 x 5 cm mounts (4489) and 24 x 36 mm format masks (4486) with guide ridges for 35 mm film strips.

With appropriate format masks or glass inserts (each available as accessories) also suitable for film strips and cut single slides and negatives of the 4.5 x 6 cm, 6 x 6 cm, 6 x 7 cm and 6 x 9 cm film formats and the 24 x 66 mm panoramic film format. Inserts are easy to change.

Mounted 35 mm slides can be placed directly from above on the device, for placing film strips the pressure frame has to be opened.

Bottom part with adjustable stop pins for different film widths plus four steplessly adjustable masking strips.

Overlay mat sized 254 x 201 mm (10 x 7.9 in.) serves as a protection against stray light.

Weight of FilmCopy Vario (w/o masks, w/o overlay mat): approx. 600 g (1.3 lbs.).

Note: The FilmCopy dia MF Holding Device (code no. 2459) is suitable for digitizing mounted medium format slides (4.5 x 6 cm and 6 x 6 cm slides in mounts 7 x 7 cm).

Tip: There are various software solutions for converting black & white / color negatives, e.g. from Negative Lab Pro or ColorPerfect.

slimlite plano Light Box

Super flat LED light box for uniform and color precise illumination for viewing, sorting and digitizing of slides, negatives or other transparent originals.

Illuminated area 22 x 16 cm (8.7 x 6.3 in.), 5000 Kelvin daylight, color rendering index (CRI): 95 for precise color rendering, continuously dimmable, mains operation or battery operation with built-in rechargeable battery. Mains adapter/charger included.

Smartphone Mount

For fastening a smartphone to a tripod, a copy stand or a holding device with 1/4" connection thread.

Rubberized quick clamp with 55 – 90 mm (2.2 – 3.5 in.) span width.
